Yeah, the gameplay we saw last year looked really good. I included it among the top 10 trailers of E3.

That's why I was so bummed that in this three-minute trailer we got zero gameplay. I want to see more of what I saw in 2015. It's entirely possible that we'll see new gameplay footage at E3, so I can definitely look forward to that.

But, in general, as I wrote above, I treat story trailers like this with a fair amount of suspicion.

Anyway, I certainly didn't intend to drag the conversation off course or take away from the excitment of a release date. Here's hoping Sony's E3 will be a knock-out :)

You intended to drag the conversation. You are tiring. People already said we had live demo of the gameplay trailer last year and now you're going into circles trying to be pessimistic about this trailer lacking gameplay when its not the intention of the developer. Honestly, you alrewdy wrote a piece about it then you should know already.

It seems to be quite the hip thing to hate on Sony exclusives this gen.... before NMS was announced to be PS / PC exclusive everyone was raving and ranting at the possibilities. But now people are saying things like "marketing was done wrong", the "what do you do?" thing keeps being brought up etc.

GT:S is being derided already for its lack of a full feature set even though it is the first GT on a new system and has to cater to VR (which is a new feature).

I really expect every sony game to get a lot of troll reviews this gen. I just hope that anyone that does that type of intentional downplaying and undescoring due to platform is destroying their own credibility.

In law people are innocent until proven guilty, people should have a similar approach to games.... at least give them a chance and for god sake apply the same standards to each game you review.

You can't give TW3 100 with that combat and then turn around and give a game with the same problems and strengths 80. I bought Overwatch and it should have been marked down for the lack of diversity of content.... reviewers failed badly again with OW. This is a regular occurance!
