You mentioned OoT and how it was revolutionary. You mention that the AI in TLOU is terrible (which isn't true at all). So if you praise one game and deem it deserving of infinite praise, then you should apply the same criticism to its parts. In this case, the AI in OoT is abysmal.

Oh please Hynad let it be, this argument of yours is the dumbest you have ever written to me and I'm sure you know it, OoT is a game from 1998, that's 15 years before than The Last Of Us , of ourse the AI in OoT is way less advanced, that's too damn obvious, it would be a huge problem if TLOU had a 15 years old outdated kind of IA, what's the point?

But not only that, you say OoT or Nintendo games in general have a worse IA, but is not the same to have a less advanced IA than to have a BAD IA, you see , Mario Bros has an almost non-existant IA, but... does it need it? Did OoT need a better IA for what the game is? It is not the same case, The last of Us is a game that is all about the realism of the inmersion, is constantly trying to make you feel like you are there and is full of stealth moments where the AI of the enemies matters, and yet you get plenty of embarrasing moments that completley break the inmersion that is trying to create, in the moment you are trying to be hide behind a corner while there are several enemies close to you and then Ellie becomes crazy and starts to walk around in front of all the enemies while looking for a place to hide and they become suddlenly blind and do not react at all to her presence, the inmersion completely dies in that moment, and things like this happens more than it should in that game, the AI actually hurts the best virtue of the game, it may be more advanced than many games but it feels like is not enough for what the game is looking for, that's all, I think is a great game I just dont think is flawless or revolutionary and honestly, I dont think you do either.

LOL. Yes, I think TLOU was revolutionary. For reasons that are different from why you think OoT was. Many people do. And no, I don't think OoT was as revolutionary as people like you do. And before you ask, I played it for the first time on release day in 1998.  Now, I don't like to use the word overrated, but when I see that word being brought up, OoT is the first game that comes to my mind. This coming from a fan of the franchise since playing the very first game on the NES in 1987, in case you didn't know. To me, it was a blurry mess running at eye-hurting fps, with bad controls to boot. The atmosphere and time travel mecanics/ideas are its only redeaming aspects to me.

As for the part about AI, when applied to OoT, I said that in jest. But my point stands that you do not apply the same scrutiny and criticism to games that aren't made by Nintendo or exclusive to their consoles. That much, we all know. ^_-

That part about Ellie is laughable, by the way. It's still a game. The alternative would be countless frustrating moments where your teammate would be responsible for screwing up all your hard stealthy approaches and similar work. The way they designed her is not intrusive, and works better for the narrative they were going for. But hey, feel free to cling to any possible negative you can find in it to fit yours.
