Are you Married, dating, single or...other?

Single.

I would like to have someone to be with for the rest of my life sooner rather than later though, I mean I am 28 now, but I am the first to admit that I miss a couple genes in that department. I usually don't like people a whole lot. I mean I could be friendly with others, but I hardly ever "like" anyone. Slight problem.

Anyway I don't mean "for the rest of my life" in the marriage-terms really, I don't care about that. Almost everyone that's closest to me has been devorced, except my grandparents, so it kind of seems like a waste of time and money to me to get married. What's really the point, in my experience it only 'jinxes' it. But I digres, if I meet someone that absolutely wants to I'll probably be swayed anyway.
