I'm going to stretch your argument here to a logical conclusion. If I take the top 20, I'm taking the top 20% of a larger sample size. On a system like the PS2, the top 20% is nearly 800 games. On something like the Wii U, the top 20% is like two. (Jokes aside, it's about 150.) I wouldn't even want more than the top 5% of either of those systems because there were SO many terrible shovelware games on both.

I know you're reducing sample size to make it easier to choose, but I like the argument even at full scale because it allows people to choose what percent of games they'd want in a real situation.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
