Wow that is quite different from in Ireland there is literally no difference between using data from the network on your phone or boardcasting it from the phone to something else, there isn't in terms of the cost of the data to the network only that they've managed to lock a part of the software of your phone to think it isn't able to share that data... that is shocking, is it an android phone? There are a few ways around it.... but... that said if you are happy with your current set up (I think I would actually shrivel up and die with 30gb per month) then work away with what you got I guess and keep an eye out for cheap retail games rather than stuff from the psn Store... since it would take you 2 months worth of Cap to download Uncharted 4 ... that is... insane. |
Yup, the hotspot on my android phone is a plan add on and is shut off with software from the cell company if you don't pay for it.
The mobile hotspot is a separate device with its own plan and no contract. So I can adjust my data cap any time I want on it which is a nice feature. That's the USA for ya.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!
