Evolution? Women give birth, that is a biological fact and cannot be changed (yet). But how are they more fit to raise, nurture and protect a child? Short answer: they're not. That's because a man can do it just fine (except for breast milk but most people nowadays don't even like that).
If the mother dies at childbirth is the baby screwed? Oh no, you lost the one person that was naturally intended to make sure you get your diapers changed, take you to school and other womanly stuff, we might as well dump you right now because it's the natural way. Daddy can't do it, that's for sure. He's a man and is not prepared fot this kind of stuff.
So yeah, no evolution here. Man and women are not that different aside from genitals. That's from a physical standpoint. Gender on the other hand is what makes all the difference.
