So I am watching a show where parents start their kids at the age of two.

To me, it seems that they are deciding for the kids at this age. But maybe I am wrong, maybe they should not wait until they are in their teens or older before this happens. By then they already have to deal with years of being a certain supposed sex.

Your thoughts?

Transgender Camp is the name of the show.

Why do children need to be given a gender at all? Why should a "decision" be made by anybody but the child? No need to "wait until they are in their teens", but they can make their own choice. Let them choose their own clothes, their hairstyle, etc (within reason, of course - there are styles and clothes that are inappropriate for children in general).

Ultimately, there should be "gender neutral" clothes for children until they express a preference.
