Parity was still a result if you had to scale back in the end regardless of the excuse. I don't think with CDPR's excuse means they think their core base is where they think it is, I mean there is being honest to your base and then there is lip service, tell them what they want to hear.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
