But this is a fallacy.  What percentage of W10 users even know MS has a store in their system? Optimistically...half? What percentage of them have ever even opened it? 75%? How many of them have actually downloaded something from it or use it with any regularity? Again, maybe...half? How many of them are even slightly interested in games? 25%? How many of them don't have Steam?

They said Windows has a wider reach. and while also true, this does not imply more per se.

This is the correct  analogy:

Gamestop has 1500 stores and 20m customer

Walmart has 5000 stores and 100m customer

You sell 1.5m copies of your game at gamestop and 1m at walmart.
walmart has a wider (and bigger) audience
