I think he is pointing that every human is an animal, to dismiss a point about "who cares, it's just an animal", and that we are all animals, just as well.

I suppose his comment can be interpreted in two ways. Wouldn't want to assume.

 

I think people are missing out on the bigger issues of this though. It proves:

1) Responsibility does impact how your child acts

2) People only care when things become trends
