They had more games last year, so what? They are still there with just as big of a booth. This time it will be a huge Zelda themed one. Instead of just white. They will have showings of the game. Both staged and by the Treehouse. It might just be for one game, but what other game has ever gotten THAT much attention at E3?

They had vastly more games every single year of E3 since it started. That's "so what." They aren't having any conference or Digital Event. That's "so what." They have games to talk about that they are deliberately choosing not to talk about at E3 when they have no other reason to not talk about them there. That's "so what." They announced plans for a separate event at a separate place on a separate date where they would announce new hardware and software the same day they announced all of this E3 news. That's "so what."

Nintendo is effectively saying "so what?" to E3, and they are not alone. That's "so what."
