It used to be one of the biggest factors for getting word out about your games. But thanks to the internet and the information being easily accessible, E3 isn't nearly as relevant as it used to be.

I actually think the Internet made it more so.

More and more people watch it each year, and the media attention is higher than ever.

That to me means its more relevant, not less.
