"Pulling out" doesn't mean having nothing. Nintendo's having Zelda this year. Guess that means they're totally into E3 this year, too.
Activision has always had a major booth there. Now they don't. That's a signifiant change in priorities from one of the biggest publishers in gaming, and that's not a trivial move.
But go ahead thinking that three of the most major publishers in gaming dropping E3 in the same year doesn't mean anything because at least they're still showing off two or three games there. Must be a random, crazy coincidence.
