As you must know, we are only 2 weeks far from starting the biggest video game event in the year. In the last years, we have seen the constant expansion of other shows like the Tokio Game Show and the Gamescom.

However, E3 has remain as the big event. So far.

Even when some companies had their own events and conferences, nothing have surpassed the excitement that the inocent week in the middle of June (lately) has brought to the media.

A lot  of companies get ready their biggest announcements. Like a new dark Zelda game like Twilight Princess or a very asked remake like Final Fantasy VII. The bombs are thrown in that week. Coverage of the media press is all over the internet. Demos fly on the booths and impressions are written without stop.

But, is E3 relevant anymore? Is that simple week still the biggest event? What do you think?

In my opinion, E3 is still relevant, the biggest event of the year and the best oportunity to reach mass appeal (except for Apple).
