It's sad that a Gorilla had to be killed because the irresponsibility of a mother but that's the zoo's protocol for you. If you people are so adamant about this kind of stuff and want to protect the rights of animals stop walking into the zoo's, join greenpeace and share your thoughts in animal activists forums.
Btw failing is part of human nature so instead of making assumptions about the mother you should accept the fact that this could have been a mistake from her part. If she has to be sued, then so be it but stop saying stuff like: "she probably is one of those mothers..." etc. It's stupid.
