Saharan Africa doesn't have a ton of resources, but you're very mistaken if you don't think Africa has a lot of natural resources, I don't really know what to tell you.

it has resources, a good amount. However, it's not doing much to allow Africa to follow expand and grow.

Why is it? It's not like all of Africa is sand(as shown in movies and ads). It's surprising how a continent with such an abundance of resources fails to provide any sort of growth at all.
