Didn't seem necessary to shoot the animal. The gorilla wasn't aggressive, or harming the child.
Anyway the parents, or the mother if she was the only one there, should be prosecuted for negligence. Keep your d*mn kid in line, now there's a dead animal because of it. A member of an endangered species no less.
