So i should use a country where i don't live and don't know how is the True situation of the country ?, My country is one of the countries with the most number of Legal  refugees and people from other countries, I Have the right to say something about this because my country is one of the countries who are open to receive any of those Refugees from, and instead of what some people said on this Thread, Refugees does not spoil the country's Culture it would  take Dozens of Millions to do that and some African Countries were a Colony of those European Countries like Portugal, France, UK. Germany have 80-85+ Millions of citzens UK 60+ Millions France 60-65+ Millions, And even so they cannot afford to take a few Thousands per month ?, Instead of that they should let them die ?.

Regarding Culture, In my country we have a Germany festival in the south of the country, we have the biggest concentration of Japanese people out-side of Japan in the southeast region, this really does not bother me and it did not spoiled my Culture.

He is not only talking about culture you know?He is also talking about social integration, fitting into society.that implies:getting along with the europeans, finding job, being useful to the country and so on.And Im sorry, giving your country as an example is a horrible decision(Im assuming you are from Brazil based on your profile).I have some relatives in Brazil, so I have some knoledge about this stuff.So how are those persons that came from Haiti, that came from the earthquake?Arent they still living in proverty?Not only that, there are various reports from illegal immegrants, from Bolivia and another countries, that are treated almost as slaves in illegal activities.Not only that, but they end up living in favelas which, in my opinion, is not a place no human being should live.There is a difference betwenn letting people come in and being able to shelter these individuals.Not to mention the current economical and political situation of Brazil.They should not be taking people in.They should be helping their own citizens.

And regarding your first question, of course you can know about the true situation about a country without living in them.There is something called news, in which you can inform yoursewlf about these things, you know?
