I would not say I am terribly shocked by the score accorded to the title. I also would like to say the negative comments are merely a mark of a massive karma reversal. Basically this title was heaped with accolades, proclaimed AAA, and used to bulk any and all possible exclusive lists. We all say the lists with Haze prominently mentioned as a AAA exclusive title. With a few of the scores coming in the title has no hope of AAA status, and may be lucky to get average marks if bribery is used as a standard business tactic.
Posters aren't attacking the company or the game really. They are attacking their fellow arrogant posters who rubbed their nose in the game for the last six months, and I cannot see calling fowl on them now. This is the price of hubris, and you should take every lump it will be good for you. Trying to guilt someone, because deep down you are ashamed it a pretty vulgar tactic. You talk smack, and eventually you will get a smack down.
Anyway I saw the video a few weeks ago I game my opinion then. Looks like I was pretty close to the mark. |
No. No, it wasn't, except that yeah it was obviously included on exclusive lists. So the rest of your post has no legs to stand on, and your defense of whatever else is going on, fails. Most of what I remember were predicitions of low-moderate initial sales and then good legs *if* it turned out to be decent and got decent reviews. Yeah, go on, rub noses...how pathetic the predictions were. *rolls eyes* |
What a shock an adamant denial. No Sony fan claimed this game was huge. No fan claimed it as a major exclusive. Speak for yourself, and not for others. The reason for the flaming is not, because the title was exclusive for the PS3. Both the other consoles have had lackluster exclusive titles that received equally poor ratings. Why were these titles not attacked. They were not attacked, because there wasn't a legion of fans raising them onto a pedestal. There were a few posters hopeful of this title or that, but never proclaimed these games even a fraction of what Sony fanboys were doing with Haze. Are we to the point where we need to thoroughly document what everyone said so as to bat down these ignorant arguments. Everyone knows it is true a great many Sony fanboys replayed the lair mistake again. Perhaps the only smart thing they did was pull back on the claims the closer the game came to launch. |
