As much as I'm sure some people would LIKE PSVR games to run poorly on the normal PS4, they won't. They have to be designed to run on it at a very stable 1080p @ 60 fps. Will they look as good as non-VR games, or Neo VR games? No, of course not. But not looking as good, and not running as well are two different things. Especially when someone is throwing around terms like "awful". Looking at what Sony has said, a game that is running "awful" won't even be okay'd for release.
But alas, it's much easier to just repeat what you would like to happen as a viable possibility then to actually look at the available information.
