Sorry my fault. With media I mean youtubers, streamers and the huge fanbases that spawn new memes and fanart every nanosecond. I wouldn't give two shits about what's printed on news sites.

If you follow internet communities closely it's very easy to see what is about to become popular and what not. And let me tell you, Overwatch is mega popular right now and it will only get bigger as soon as the esports kick in. And that is not because it's blizzard or because it's hyped for no reason. It has great gameplay, is ultra polished and even more importantly it has great characters that people can get invested in.
