there was a lot more to the layoffs than just sales. infinite was after all the fastest selling bioshock, and even though the game took a lot of time to develop, it went on to sell 3.7 million in a relativly fast manner. i was reading on it the other day but didnt finish. from what i know it was a combination of a lot of things. AAA development and managment, costs, ken levines desire to work on a smaller team, among other things.
