The microtransactions in Overwatch, are the same as GTA V's. You just buy the lootboxes. So you don't have to waste time unlocking. This is for lazy people, who have no will power. Or people who don't have the time. Everything can be unlocked by just playing the game. I got the GTA V Cargo Plane. By playing the 2 player heist, for a month. To just get the 2 million.

If you can do that. You can unlock everything in Overwatch. Hell, Overwatch is a lot fare. BEcause you can win in game money to buy the unlocks too. And if you get a duplicate unlock. You get money, as offset. I've unlocked 10 things for Zarya. With in-game money.

Important gameplay aspects will also never be locked behind a price point, it's all cosmetic
