http://www.pcgamer.com/enemy-starfighter-becomes-house-of-the-dying-sun/

Enemy Starfighter, the space combat sim that looks like the lovechild of Homeworld and Freespace, is no more! But before you go crying your frozen tears into the void, know all that's really happened is that the name has changed: Goodbye Enemy Starfighter, hello House of the Dying Sun.

HOUSE OF THE DYING SUN STEAM PAGE REVEALS SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND MORE

http://www.pcgamer.com/house-of-the-dying-sun-steam-page-reveals-system-requirements-and-more/

Yesterday's news that the Homeworld-meets-Freespace space combat sim Enemy Starfighter had been renamed to House of the Dying Sun was interesting, but also very out-of-the-blue. Today, though, it makes a little more sense. The game is now on Steam Early Access, it's set to come out next month, there's a new (and very hot) trailer, and some system requirements, too.

FAR CRY 3 AND SPLINTER CELL: BLACKLIST ARE $7 IN NEW HUMBLE BUNDLE

May has been an exceptional month for new video games, and chances are you're pretty busy with Doom, or Total War: Warhammer, or Overwatch, or Stellaris, or (you get the idea). Having more video games in your pile is never a bad thing, though, especially when you can snap up a handful for less than a tenner.

>>And Rayman Origins, Call of Juarez and Grow Home are $1.

No Man's Sky, aka The Game I Desperately Hope Is Not Delayed, has reportedly been delayed. Kotaku is reporting that retailer Gamestop has been instructed to amend the release date on promotional posters with "coming soon". Another unnamed "reliable" source has also confirmed the delay. One of these sources claims that the space adventure is likely to release in July or August.

Battleborn's first post-launch hero launched this week in the form of Alani, a water-loving warrior with some bonus healing capabilities. If you've got the game and the season pass you can play her now, or else wait until May 31 for the full official rollout – providing you have the right amount of in-game currency racked up.

LOOT RASCALS IS THE DECK-BUILDING, HEXPLORING '80S CARTOON YOU ALWAYS LONGED TO PLAY

http://www.pcgamer.com/loot-rascals-is-the-deck-building-hexploring-80s-cartoon-you-always-longed-to-play/

Watching the trailer for Loot Rascals, I felt like I'd slipped into an episode of Garth Marenghi's Darkplace by way of Danger Mouse. Despite the deadpan sidekick's best efforts, however, it's not great at explaining what Loot Rascals is. I did the legwork, and behind the fantastically surreal exterior (designed by an ex-Hohokum dev—who'd have thought?) is an intriguing new take on asynchronous multiplayer.

THE ASSEMBLY TRAILER PROMISES A VR THRILLER WITH "IMPOSSIBLE CHOICES"

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-assembly-trailer-showcases-the-completeness-of-its-vr-world/

The Assembly is an “immersive, interactive VR story” currently in development at nDreams, which promises to tell an intriguing tale. A mysterious organization—the titular Assembly—has been conducting experiments that go well beyond what's considered morally okay by polite society. But as those secrets are about to be exposed, two people, each with unique motivations, are given the chance to influence the future. And, as nDreams website states, “For better or worse, the impossible choices they face will transform not just their own lives, but that of whole nations.”
