Mainly because of money. I couldn't afford any console during the ps1 days. There's also the fact that on the ps2 days I played on my uncle's Gamecube, and when next-gen hit, I got a Xbox360 gifted.
It wasn't until this generation that I put money towards a Sony console. Considering my income, it will (probably) be the only console I own this gen, as I can't go around spending on other consoles as much as I would like.
