You can have both, but the issue is really about them getting the 3rd party support they need.  We don't want another Wii U situation.

As of late, Nintendo has been stretched thin between 3DS, WiiU, and NX and they just need to focus on one single platform with the NX going forward.

If they do this, which I believe they will, droughts should become a thing of the past.

 

As for me, most third party stuff hasn't interested me at all so I can take it or leave it.
