It is not about about how much money you spent on such and such game. Games like Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone do free to play relatively well as you can do the daily quests and get enough gold to buy the chracters, card packs and expansions from within the game. Infact i do that with Hearthstone and have more than 600-700 plus hours in it without spending any real world money. The problem or i guess the "issue" is that when i log into the game. Am more inclined to do play with the class or character that i have the daily quest with instead of well, choosing one that i am most feeling like at the moment. That is why it is just liberating to get all the chracters and maps, current and future. It is preference thing though. When we are young, we have no money but lots of time. When we are old, we rather pay the retail price and get everything to enjoy in the limited time we have. |
I quit Hearthstone for that reason. I didn't spend any money on it, so no loss. But eventually the game got too tedious.
League of Legends also encourages you to win one game a day for a bonus, but I quickly learned how relatively useless the bonus was.
