The United Kingdom also went to war in Iraq, they're part of Europe. Also, I guess you haven't seen the refugee camps that exist: in Turkey there is not enough food and water for the refugees, and there are frequent cases of sexual abuse. Therefore, even if they leave Syria they still are in a severe crisis, which is why many of them continue west.

Alright, but does Germany and France and Italy and all the other EU state's not considered the west? How about Canada which has a leader who could care less about Canadian's, and more about his image (bringing in 60,000 refugee's in a year for billions of dollars). And Europe has given Turkey 6 billion to deal with the problem, so why should they still take in refugee's? The middle east needs to do more than just sit on their thumb and make Europe do it. Like it or not, integration has been piss poor so far, and bringing in more only worsens the problem.

So your argument seems to be that since the Middle Eastern countries don't accept any refugees, neither should we? I thought that we were supposed to be championed as human rights advocators and the lands of opportunity?
