I think retail releases today actually (kind of weird to have bumped it up to a Monday release date but my copy is supposedly coming in a few hours) and it seems like it's going to do very well. The beta garnered a lot of interest, it seems, and rightfully so, since it was fun as hell. I expect it to beat out Doom by a decent margin, though that game deserves strong sales as well. The last few months have been fantastic games-wise for me, with Ratchet, Dark Souls, Uncharted, Doom and Overwatch, and next month looks like the streak is continuing with Mirror's Edge and No Man's Sky.

I think the game will be the best selling game this year, I think 15m+ is on-lock easily. Largest beta numbers in history, and unlike Battlefront, the impressions were overwhelmingly positive.

Only thing I'm not sure about is the pricetag. Personally I think this game would have more sucess as a $20 or $30 digital only game . 

Yeah, what with Blizzard's audience being so pc-heavy and the standard game retailing for $40 on the pc I expect that a lot of the sales will be digital. I'm expecting a very strong retail presence as well, but I don't think the NPD or Amazon will tell the whole picture.
