It has been the default bundle ever since the Battlefront bundle and NDC bundles were phased out in Dec/Jan. It's also a prominent bundle in other countries. My point is any bundle that is accounting for huge amounts of sales like this would cause software sales of the game to be skewed in comparison to other games. |
That may have been your point but you were backing it and twisting data in such a way that made it sound like the black ops 3 bundle has been 90% of all ps4 sales since it released, and I don't think it's fair of you to not fully disclose the fact that A) this happened one month and B) the one time that did happen, it was not worldwide but only in the US. That's very relevent information to mention when you're trying to talk about Sony "padding" sales of uncharted by bundling.
I actually think the opposite, that Sony would want to levy uncharted 4 by bundling in order to boost Ps4 hardware sales. They themselves have said that they are focusing on install base above everything else, so my idea is at least somewhat grounded in reality where as you're trying to roll with the agenda that Sony would want to make the de facto ps4 SKU come with uncharted just to say "Hey, look uncharted sold a whole bunch by us artificially inflating it's sell through numbers!" From a business perspective, that is frankly stupid and there are numerous legitimate reasons why they would want to pair the two. You seem to be the only one here downplaying and trying to iterate that Uncharted is a sales disappointment. It's not. It's the fastest selling PlayStation exclusive EVER. The only people apparently disappointed are the ones that won't get to play it
