By same thing you mean releasing new hardware?

1- The PS4 neo will play the exact same games as the current PS4

2- They actually have dozens of games coming out every month, for all tastes, unlike the Wii U that depends nearly exclusively on 1st party releases

What you pointed out is no different than what Nintendo did with the New 3DS and that system rightfully got flak, but even the old 3DS had been on the market for 4yrs by the time the New one came out. NX is releasing because WiiU is a failed effort on the home console front. So that clearly makes PS4 Neo and XBOne.2 a cash grab just like the New 3ds was. None of the companies want to or wanted to give any information on the systems even though rumours have been floating around frantically.

i was not commenting on the "anti consumer" allegation you pointed out, i dont think the new 3ds, nx or ps4 neo are anti consumer in any way shape or form. i was just trying to show how different the case for the neo is in relation to the nx. the neo, supposedly, is still a ps4 that will play all the ps4 games and is not to have any exclusive titles hidden from the original ps4.

the nx, supposedly, will be an entirely new console with its own separate library from the wii u.

now in my oppinion, having the choice to get an upgrade for my console without having to retire my entire library of games is fantastic. the same way that everytime i update my pc, i dont need to rebuy my entire steam collection. i think that is a very smart move from Sony side now that they settled on x86 architecture and I fully expect all future consoles to simply play my digitally purchased games.

that's, i think, the future and i'm 100% ready to embrace it
