While I agree the PS3 is severely lacking in JRPG's, what JRPG did you expect to see by now? I have not seen anything canceled, and FF games are always late.
I would only call it a lie if Sony (or a bunch of developers) told you of a bunch coming out, and then none did.
I want some JRPG's as well (hell, any RPG's), but I would not call the console a lie because it does not have them yet.
