I think you misunderstand what I am saying.  There is a difference between hard work and complete optomization in the case of Uncharted 4.  I am not saying that the guys who seek to optomize PC aren't working hard.s  Of course they are and it does pay off.  What I am saying is that what it would take to optomize most sbig games on the level of what was done for the PS4 would be so time consuming that it is actually unecessary.  Especially since PC graphics cards shave enough raw horsepower to get there without those kind of optomizations.    What I am saying is that it would be nearly impossible for even Naughty Dog to optomize PC hardware to the fullest in the way that that they can on a closed platform like the PS4.  For one, they don't have the low level access on PC like they do on PS4 and even if they did, the number of configurations would drive them batshit crazy.  Fortunatly as I stated for many times, this isn't necessary on performance and enthusiast class rigs because they can bank on raw power.

TLDR:  There is no reason do optomize PC the way Naughty Dog optomized the PS4.  And just because no one doest that on PC doesn't mean they aren't hard workers.

I get all that but what is the > advantage here?, if it's not the code or the hardware then what is it?.

Graphics cards dish out raw horsepower but are we then going to say "they cost too much" to nerf that pro or go with all games not being optimized on PC along with being buggy?, where are the pros to the other side?.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
