my impression of the Haze demo was pretty good

- the graphics certainly weren't top notch, which is a bit more of a critics point for a shooter, then for games of other genres, but it looked better than Timesplitters, The Club and Blacksite and so on

- gameplay was fun and the aiming is astounishingly good, especially, because I usually hate to control the recticle with an analogue stick
nectar made me addicted whithout being mandatory to use, so I think they really integrated that system well
.. and the fully customizeable controls are a big plus in my book

- the acting wasn't good, but the small hints at the effects of nectar and the storyline were nice and did whet my appetite

all in all I ran through the short demo 4-5 times, several times in Co-op and didn't have any lag, so my impression of the demo was a 7.5/10 (I'm not exacly a shooter fan )

I don't know how IGN AU comes to a 4.5/10, but then again I only played the demo and not the full game, so other levels might be worse or it could get very repetitive.
