Wow dude are you really going to compare the two? FF has been around since the 80s Halo has only been on the market since 2000s. Halo is as big as the entire FF series in terms of gross, venue and popularity. Let’s not forget Halo is exclusive to only 1 console and occasionally PC. If Halo released on all platforms that 110m compared to 70m will be a lot closer and that’s not bad for a game series that only released 16 years ago.
Halo is almost double the worth of Uncharted, that’s a pretty big gap. Seems like you refuse to accept this fact. *when you boost the numbers with a Hardware that cost 500US$ and also give Shipped numbers to boost even futher, isn't something so impressive.* How many games come out that gross $500m in its first week? GTA, Cod and maybe a Mario... What else? Those games are all juggernauts in there genres oh i also forgot one, Halo |
With shipped Numbers ?, almost every big game because the Bundle alone usually cost 5-7 Units of the game. and as i said Halo 1 and 2 were on PC, the 110 Millions of Units sold for Final Fantasy was on 2014 where the only main tittle avaliable on PC was FFXIII.
65 Millions to 110 Millions is a big difference.
And back with the 500 Millions in Revenue this means over 8.5 Millions of units sold full price at retail even if the game had a lot of legendary edition it would not be less than 8 Millions units sold first week you need to boost it with Hardware, Compare Software with Software Halo 5 sold 2+ Millions at Retail First Week lets say 5% is of Legendary Edition this is over 130+ Millions of US$ First week (with the Microtransactions and other related items it could have been 140+ Millions), GTA V Sold more than a dozen of Millions day 1 and even so it did over 1 Billion in Revenue in the first week.
It is unfair to use Bundle's revenue together with the Hardware's revenue just to make the numbers go up.
