Nah, I disagree. It's already going to be a pretty limited GT game with less content than normal. It isn't like it's a new IP or anything, or from a small developer.
Maybe they were hard at work on GT7 and Sony came to them wanting something for PSVR so they've been having to quickly throw this together. I can't think of any other reason as to why it looks so meh gameplay and graphics wise.
