Sanction saudi arabia is the solution. They export most extremist ideas, at least the people who rule the country and have the power there. Also all islamic extremist terrorist attacks so far were always done by Sunni muslims (Saudi Arabia) not Shia this is a fact.

Our econimies are too dependant on Saudi Arabia's oil. We're stuck with them as our friends. 

Hezbollah is shia and they're acused of a number of terroist attacks and I believe there are others, but there are big diffrences in the behaviour of sunni and shia terrorists. 

Not really Canada, US and Russia have massive shale oil and normal oil reserves. Venezuela found new reserves which are the largest on earth too.

Hezbollah is probably the only exception and they made terrorist attacks only against israel which is a neighboring country. Its more like a Frozen War there, like north korea and south korea having their skirmishes ounce in a while.
