There was not even one thing that wasn't leagues better. The tone and the story and the interesting environments and the added audience mechanics... It was the sort of sequel you can't ever realistically hope for, because it's just too perfect. Maybe that's why they felt like they had to change up the format. The game was too perfect to ever top.
