MINECRAFT PRICES ARE GOING UP IN SOME REGIONS

http://www.pcgamer.com/minecraft-prices-are-going-up-in-some-regions/

Mojang warned today that “Minecraft might be changing price in your region,” which is a nice way of saying that if you don't live in the US, it's probably going up. Don't get out the torches and pitchforks just yet, though: The increase won't take effect for another week, and when it does, non-US buyers will still be getting a pretty fair shake.

>>Because why lower the price on one region when you can increase it in all the others?

The good news is that, just before the weekend, From Software dropped a Dark Souls 3 patch intended to finally rein in all the cheating and shenanigans that have been going on since the game released last month. The studio said on Steam that the update fixed three specific issues in online mode—being sent immediately to your world, being sent to the Firelink Shrine, and being changed in full Dragon Body Status—and promised that more problems would be solved in future patches.

STELLARIS DIRECTOR PROMISES BIG CHANGES AND MORE CONTENT IN FUTURE UPDATES

We said in our review of Paradox's new 4X strategy game Stellaris that “the early game is packed full of personality, but it's squandered as the hours roll on.” Apparently we weren't the only ones to think so: In a developers diary posted today, Game Director Henrik Fåhraeus said he anticipated “a fair amount of criticism regarding the mid-game,” and acknowledged that “colony events,” a category that was “supposed to be the bread and butter of the mid-game for the Science Ships,” went neglected because "we simply took too long getting all the early and late game stuff in."

DISGAEA STUDIO IS BRINGING PHANTOM BRAVE TO STEAM

Nippon Ichi's tactical-RPG Disgaea wasn't exactly a bases-loaded home run when it transitioned to the PC earlier this year. But try, try again, as the saying doesn't always go, and so the studio and publisher NIS America will do just that in July with the Steam release of Phantom Brave, which originally came out in 2004 for the PlayStation 2.

Ubisoft rolled out the second major Rainbow Six Siege update last week in the form of Operation Dust Line, which added a new middle eastern-themed map and two Navy SEAL operators. These operators, Valkyrie and Blackbeard, wield sticky cameras and rifle-mounted shields respectively, and Ubisoft has made a video to explain how these tactical tools can work to the player's advantage.
