Is criticizing attacking now?

Vince Zampella got death threats for making Titanfall X1 exclusive. That's an attack.

One of the reviwers that gave Uncharted 4 an "unfavorable" score got attacked by one of VGC users on his personal life. That's an attack.

Get your reading and comprehension right.

"to direct unfavorable criticism against; criticize severely; argue with strongly:"

Example:" He attacked his opponent's statement."

So yes according to the dictionary I used the correct word, and that my comparison is apt.  Even the example exactly nails what you did. You weren't countering any points - you were attacking the person and thier statement.

Attempts to play semantic games - such as  "is it really an attack" -  are generally the last vestige of a dying argument. Specially with coupled with petty comments like "get your reading and comprehension right".

Just like in the other thread - I can see there is nothing to be gained by talking to someone who rather attack the person than the point. So I will be abandoning this thread for higher grounds - because it appears to be sinking quickly.

So in your own words, I might as well blow someone up, knock them out and it would have the same weight as criticizing reviewers' opinion on a forum.

Higher ground? LOL, your comparison couldn't even take flight. Attacking someone's opinion is different from attacking a person. Capisce.

And I agree on your abandoning thread cause you didn't add any substance to it.
