I'm kind of late in doing so, but I think I'm ready to talk about more Pokemon Adventures.

One thing that comes to mind to me right away is how fast paced this manga is. I feel a lot of ground is covered in just 10 chaps. The encounter with Lt. Surge, Lavender Town, the Snorlax blocking the way past diglett's cave, and then Erika. Also, a lot of cool, interesting things happen, like Gary getting a porygon (at the slots even), unlikely characters being on the villains' side, and the addition of the character Blue. It's quite great compared to the anime. It's even more refreshing to see Red is catching more Pokemon. I also got to see the famous part with the zombie pokemon. I didn't expect to see that one so soon.

The biggest part in this session was the introduction of Blue, the sassy, sneaky thief girl in the black dress. She's quite the sly character, using her girlish charm to trick Red multiple times and sell him useless goods and steal other things from him as well as from Team Rocket. It also seems she's always one step ahead, with some sort of plan in mind. She's also got a great design to boot. It's pretty great what they turned this character into just from the one promotional artwork they had to work with. Blue's time in this session was short, but I hope to see her again.

So yeah, good stuff so far. I'm really liking this manga.
