Sucker Punch Productions would definitely be a great fit for this, but I don't think there's been any actual leaks as such for this, just some speculation based on the fact that Spidey is a super hero, that there hasn't been a new game done well for a long time and the fact that Sucker Punch makes good super hero games or games with people who have super powers.

Personally I think it would be more interesting to see Sucker Punch make something new, be it a new IP or a new Infamous game.
They teased about taking their formula into a modern Ninja setting just after Infamous Second Son came out.

From what Scott Rhode has said whatever they're working on is only just beginning to be formed into a cohesive game, with some future promise, but I don't think it's really ready to be shown yet, so I'm kinda thinking it's not Spider Man, just something fresh from either the Infamous Series or a new IP, most likely the latter considering Scott kinda pointed to that being the case.

I think any new Spider Man game will likely be a movie tie-in to Homecoming, released as a Multiplat on PC, PS4 and XBox One, maybe NX in 2017 when the film releases.
Maybe Actision will have a developer work on that.

This whole Spider-Man/Sucker Punch thing seems like a bit of wishful thinking.
I guess if Sony owned the rights to publish the Spider-Man games then it would make sense for them to put the best studio they had on making a game.
Maybe it will happen, I'm just not so sure and without some kind of leak from a legit source like Shinobi602 or Verendus I'm not convinced this will happen.

E3 should be interesting this year though.

I agree with both.

1: I'd rather see a new IP from Sucker Punch as well but between this rumor and sequel to Infamous I'd actually be quite interested to see what they can do with Spidey.

2: It's true. We don't have any leaks per se and I'd be surprised to see a licensed Spidey game going exclusive especially with Activision owning the rights. Though if this turns out not true, I just don't get why the hints seem to be in line with each other. It's either true or a great prank imo.

A: Stephen Oyoung's online portfolio mentioned working with Sony on an unannounced Spider-Man game but the reference to Spider-Man was quickly removed. Could this have been removed to avoid a premature announcement?

B: Shuhei Yoshida recently tweeted a picture of stacked Spider-Man noodles after never having shown any interest in the IP. Could this mean that Sony Interactive Entertaintment have plans with the IP?

C: We know for a fact that Sucker Punch is developing an unannounced PS4 game featuring 3rd person melee combat and unique clothing laid out into patterns for compelling characters. Could this sound like a Spider-Man game? Could it sound like any other game?

D: The twitter user that leaked bearded Kratos in Norse mythology before we got the concept art recently tweeted: "Sony is working at 'Untitled Spiderman PS4 project'. Trailer incoming (E3 2016?)." Could this user know something or is it just pure trolling?

E: Sony decided to collaborate to secure a high quality and cohensive Spider-Man universe even though it meant that Marvel would get a cut of the profits. Could this "universe" also include games? Could Activision approve this if they'd receive a cut just like Marvel (Disney)?
