I wrote a post about how the market became too focused on technology instead of creating games and how theres always less genres and games beeing made... but i realised i could tell you something wiser to you and everyone else.
What you are experiencing is normal. As you get older, you realise the world isnt here to please you. The feeling will only get worse. You can only let it go or not care. Hold to your convictions, but realise they are yours and you can't change the world. Keep to what you have (like gaming collection). I find that by having a gaming collection with my favorite titles, i don't care if the games market goes tits up. I will have what i love to relive the dream.
