It's not. Wii U released at the end of that generation. NX is releasing right at the 8th gen is finally done stretching its legs.

I will cause it would be neat if it was but of course, I am not putting any money on it. Also doesn't this make it harder for the NX since the other consoles are essentially established and have a great number of games but NX is just getting started?
