I thought it had plenty of content personally, I got 40 hours just out of the beta, I'll easily get my 60 hours (1 hour per dollar) out of the full game. 21 heros which all play differently, 12 maps, 2 game modes and 2 variants of those modes, over 1,000 pieces of loot to collect from the boxes, all at release. Not to mention that all DLC will be free, which includes new heros, maps, and game modes. And Blizzard isn't the type to only support a game with DLC for a few months, you can expect literal years of DLC support. They might even add a singleplayer campaign as DLC at some point (though singleplayer DLC may cost money, we only know that MP DLC is free).

Well I see it as 21 heroes who all play pretty similarly, with no skills or perks or anything like that to unlock. Only 2 game modes and 12 maps. Loot that doesn't actually change the way your character plays or enhance them in anyway. And of course, worst part it's multiplayer only.

If you love multiplayer games then great, although even then I'd say it's still lacking in content. If it was attached to a full singleplayer game then sure, but by itself it just doesn't feel like a full game.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you've played the game. None of the characters play alike. 1 swings a hammer, 1 uses bow and arrows, 1 shoots rockets, 1 lobs bombs, I could go on, but you get it. This doesn't even factor in the mobility differences, roles, or special moves. So I highly disagree with the claim that they play similarly.

I'm very glad that loot boxes are only cosmetic. Guess what the biggest complaint is about black ops 3 multiplayer. You guessed it, loot boxes with actual weapons being locked.

There are 3 game modes (payload, attack/defend, and control) along with a hybrid.

Finally, the game is multiplayer only, but the game is only $40. Would you want to pay an extra $20 for a rushed story that takes time away from the multiplayer. If you are interested in the lore, they released blurbs, comics and cinematics
