If anyone feel like attacking me for this, well.. I'm just expressing an opinion. That's all.

As someone who really doesn't care at all about Uncharted, constantly hearing that its the best game ever made (multiple generations) gets a bit tedious. Also, crowning the best game of the generation should be a bit more complex than metacritic reviews, IMO. Then again, no matter how you do it, it won't suit everyone.

I assume you're looking at generation-exclusives or something. MGSV and GTAV (console versions) have higher scores than UC4, but were available for the older consoles. But they're not last gen games, right? Oh well. Its messy.
If we look at sales, then (wiki-qoute)
"As of June 2015, the Uncharted series has sold over 21 million copies worldwide"
while that certainly is good, it quickly pales when compared to things like GTA or CoD.

I always find it weird when the "best of the best" is played by, in comparison, very few people. Was it really that good then? Shouldn't the best draw in more people? And if its a niche game, how can it be the best when it is only liked by a small crowd? Why should that small crowd get much attention at all? 73 critics however all gave it a high score and I guess you could argue that that has to mean something.

On the other hand, if we go purely by sales, Justin Bieber is one of the best too and that is, in a sense, perfectly fair to say. But then, what about marketing and stuff. Is a product better/worse based off of the marketing budget?

Why are we drawn to lists so much, when they never fit anyways..

TL:DR
Meh. Scores are dumb. Make your own opinion.
