so you are saying that MS should have taken the initial big loss to help Toshiba win the format war?that way toshiba would ahve been very happy I guess since it's the MS that is taking the loss.
Sony did this becasue they were the creators of bluray,,,so taking a loss on their own product made sense inorder to commercilize it and take the future profits for SONY in account.but I don't think MS would ahve been too happy to take billions of dollar in loss just to help out Toshiba.
