If Nintendo does what everyone speculates, and makes a hybrid system that is a portable and home console simultaneously or two separate systems that use the same software, then that should solve the problem of software droughts.
The new president of Nintendo says they will be speeding up game development so there won't be software droughts. But does this mean Nintendo is going to start making fast production shovel ware games? There is quantity vs quality to contend with.
