Activision, sold 73.54 Millions of Software publsihed for the Wii, 127 Millions for the PS3, 161 Millions for the Xbox 360. Ubisoft, sold 92.97 Millions of Software for the Wii, 73.10 Millions for the PS3, 82.91 Millions for Xbox 360 EA, 39.84 Millions for the Wii, 94.23 Millions for the PS3, 112 Millions for Xbox 360. Take-2, 1 Million for the Wii, 4.57 Millions for the PS3, 9.59 Millions for Xbox One. I Don't know how to get Warner Bros's numbers, but for a lot of Third Party Publishers, the PS3, and Xbox 360, Sold more software. |
Yes, in a longer period (since Wii support dropped after 2010) and with very much larger investments.
Also my argument wasn't 3rd party publisher made more money on Wii than on Ps3 and X360. My argument was taht Ps3/X360 owners benefited form Wii's success as well, since the money 3rd party companies made on Wii weren't reinvested in Wii games but on HD platforms.
