Also, your mention of games that make a proper use of VR is spot on, as I've read reviews of Adr1ft and EVE: Valkyrie and, while they are visually stunning, they are not very good and are actually a bit boring.

I still think that simulators will make better use of VR. Racing games with VR and a set of wheels+pedals or a flight game with VR and a joystick, will shine and bring a sense of inmersion never seen before.
